Mariah Carey's latest track proves true love never fades.

Last night (October 17) saw the release of the chanteuse's fiery new production with Ty Dolla $ign called "The Distance." The collaboration, which features grooves provided by Skrillex, Lido and Poo Bear, is a sweet-sounding tell-off that proves how real love can survive in the spotlight.

"Ain't nobody stopping us/ What we have is dangerous/ Left they opinions in the dust," Carey opens the record, which follows with the confident verse, "They'll never find a way/ To make us fade away/ Our love won't fade away."

Ty slides in with smooth rhymes of his own to give the groove some added sex appeal, singing, "We be kissing in public/ You like it, I love it."

The track is the latest single from Carey's forthcoming fifteenth studio album, Caution, which is slated to arrive on November 16. She unveiled the work and its release date in a video shared to her social media accounts earlier this week.

"The Distance" follows Carey's recently-released breakup record "GTFO" and the album's lead single "With You," which dropped earlier this month.

In speaking about her upcoming LP, she told PEOPLE: "I’ve been working on my new album for a while. I’m really excited. This is me at this moment in my life being able to express myself as a writer and a singer. I’m just really in a good place.”

Carey also described her new record to be "lighthearted and fun" but also "deep in terms of the lyrical content."
