Jason Momoa shaved his beard for the first time this decade and recently shared his live reaction on social media.

Filming for Dune 3 is underway, and the beloved actor was asked to shave off his facial hair to reprise his role as Duncan Idaho, despite the character dying in the first movie.

"Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again," the star wrote, alongside a video of him shaving off his beard.

"God d*****, I hate it!" Momoa exclaimed after catching a glimpse of himself with a clean-shaven face for the first time in a long time.

The Aquaman sensation also drew attention to his sustainable water company, Mananalu, and highlighted the importance of phasing out single-use plastics for the future of our planet.

"I launched @mananalu to help eliminate single-use plastic. Now, we’re taking it even further, partnering with our team at @Getboomerangwater to bring in a closed-loop system that sanitizes and bottles water onsite. That means even less waste, reduced shipping footprint, and our aluminum bottles get reused over and over. This is the future, and we’re starting in Hawai’i."

Fans commended him for his environmental efforts in the comment section of the post, and also had a few things to say about his new look!

"You look handsome either way, I am a huge fan of the beard, however!" one fan wrote.

"You look so handsome omg Jason why do you hide your beautiful face?" another questioned.
